Title: Rules for Roommates

Summary: Modern AU. Arthur works in publishing and is ashamed to tell anyone he's secretly editing erotica, and being bullied by one of his authors - the arrogant 'Lake Anders'. He's also just taken in a new roommate, the adorable Merlin Emrys, who is definitely Not His Type. Or is he?

Okay, SO, I am working on two bits and pieces of Merlin modern AUs. One where they end up sharing a flat and Arthur is an editor covering someone's maternity leave and really HATES one of the authors he has inherited. (oh I wonder who that could be)
And a piece set in the literary agency AU where everyone at work finds out about their super-sekrit romance omg. It features acerbic one-liners, office dogs, and Arthur having FEELINGS.
Work is eating my soul at the moment: all of my authors have redelivered at the same time, Frankfurt Book Fair is edging its way over the horizon, and my slushpile has reached proportions even I didn't know possible. But once it all quietens down I will start posting gay porn again. Hurrah.

Title: The King of Queens', Chapter Seven
Fandom: Merlin
Rating: R now but will end up NC-17
Word count: This part 3,447. (About 28.5k in total so far)
Warnings: Some homophobia. Arthur being fairly loathsome.
Summary: Modern AU. Merlin has always dreamed of going to Cambridge University and is thrilled to win a place at Queens’ College. Whilst there he falls hopelessly in love with the JCR President, drinking society President, Lacrosse captain and all-round popular guy Arthur Pendragon. Arthur takes him under his wing until Merlin stands to be LGBT Rep on the JCR and Arthur realises that Merlin likes boys. Full of Cambridge slang, UST, Arthur being a knobhead with no knob, and eventual happy ending. I promise.
